At Hotel Alfons, we are proud of and deeply in love with our island, Minorca, and we cherish all the wonders it offers us.
We recognise that Minorca is a true paradise and we are committed to protecting it by setting out on a path towards sustainability.

Come and discover our hotel and you will see that we really are conscious of being more sustainable, for example in our latest renovations we have taken advantage of this:

- In our latest renovation, we have improved the façade to make the most of sunlight, installing balconies and windows that not only provide natural light to the interior, but also reduce the need for artificial lighting.

- We have also optimised the exterior lighting with timers to reduce energy consumption and light pollution, ensuring a greener environment.

- We have also completely transformed our bathrooms, replacing bathtubs with sleek designer showers, with the aim of offering a superior experience to our guests while maintaining our commitment to responsible water consumption.

- We have also recently invested in an innovative water optimisation system, including osmosis water sources for high-quality consumption, which guarantees savings of up to 80% in the use of chemicals and prevents premature deterioration of machinery. This serves the purpose of preserving our natural environment.

- In addition, by offering high-quality bottled water in glass bottles, we are committed to minimising the impact of plastics, contributing in this way to preserving our seas and oceans.

We try to use recyclable materials, non-polluting products, manage our insurance more efficiently by avoiding waste and excess, etc.
We firmly believe that every small action counts in this journey towards sustainability.
